@ Sterling Lake!
Celebrating God in Community and Creation
10 a.m Worship • 11 a.m. Service Projects • 12 p.m. Lunch
- United Presbyterian Church of Sterling and Sterling First United Methodist Churches are planning a joint worship celebration at Sterling Lake this upcoming Sunday, on May 26th.
- The worship service will be held in front of the band shell on the north side of the lake. In the case of inclement weather, we will relocate to Studio 96. Bring your own chair.
After worship, there will be a time set aside to participate in a community service project.
- For those who are physically able, the plan is to pick up trash around the lake and to accomplish any other job the city has lined up for us.
- For everyone else, the time will be spent painting rocks with encouraging thoughts and Bible verses that will be hidden in nooks and crannies around our community for people to find. Hopefully, this will bring a spark of light into the day of whoever happens to come across them throughout the summer.
After the service project, we will break bread together!
- Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided, along with paper goods.
- Bring a side to share — such as fruit, veggies, chips, salad, or deserts.
